Tour Type: Small Group Tour

Location: Abruzzo , Puglia

Code: ISI 2

Price from: AUD 3,500

Travel Month: April 2018 , October 2018

Duration: 10

Short Description :

As yet, these regions in the South of Italy, remain relatively unaffected by tourism, however they contain some stunning wine and food experiences, with cuisines that have developed out of the history of all the cultures that have made up this part of Italy.

I have travelled this region on 3 separate occasions, and we keep finding "new" experiences. The people are wonderful, and very prowd of what they produce.  The region is highly regarded in Slow Food circles,  and 9 days through Puglia and Abruzzo will only be enough to whet your appetite.

We have deliberately not included all meals , as believe me, you will not be able to eat more than 2 meals a day. It also leaves some time to wander (passeggiata) the villages we stay in, or visit, and if you are feeling hungery sample some of the local cuisine.

Your Itinerary is a guide to your activities during the week. However, sometimes we modify the final itinerary to take advantage of the season and the weather. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has a fabulous time, and that sometimes means tweaking the schedule even after your arrival. Your guide will provide suggestions during the week, and the group will decide if any modifications are desired. Be assured that only enhanced experiences are ever considered.

A complete Itinerary is available once you have registered interest in touring with us.

The  highlight of this tour is the chance to discover and experience different cultures that have in common the human hospitality of local people, great food and wine traditions.
