Prior to Covid times I was able to experience a majority of the tours that Cristina and Beatrice run in one of the most remarkable, food bowl regions of Italy. Finding the places they visit, on your own, is almost impossible, and their relationship with Slow Food opens doors to products in places like Novara, Vercelli, Roero, and the Langhe, to name but a few.

I will definitely be arranging a small group to visit this region. It will probably be 2027 unless you want something sooner. Salone del Gusto in Turin is a great way to start any wine and food adventure in this part of the world. Its a massive wine and food event run in September by Slow Food, and here you can taste your way round Italy, with the best Slow products from every region in Italy, and then some. In the alternate year there is a Slow Cheese sagre , festival, in Bra, the biggest of its kind in the world. Very educational, very enjoyable, and worth factoring in to a stay in Piedmont.
