Hello Bruce

I have recently returned from my wine and food tour in Sardinia and an still trying to get my feet back on the ground. I have had some amazing trips overseas over the years, but this one was very special, and I wanted to say thank you for introducing me to your partner in Sardinia, Angela, who made this tour something special.

This was my first experience on this island and it certainly will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed all that Sardinia has to offer, and this was made a reality by engaging Wine and Food Traveller to plan my itinerary for a five day tour, so i could get a taste of the best wine and food tour in Sardinia.

Angelina has an incredible passion for her homeland which is infectious. I came back to Australia from Sardinia with the same love and have been missing the relaxed, beautiful lifestyle very much since my homecoming.

The itinerary was perfectly organised, and I managed to see the northeast as well as the northwest of Sardinia in the time that I had.  Angelina presented a range of activities, whilst still allowing me to have some periods of relaxation. The contrast of activities was well planned. Angelina also gave me recommendations of things to do and places to see and go on the days when I was travelling solo.

Both boat trips (experienced a sailing boat as well as a catamaran) were absolutely fabulous. One perhaps a little long (got in at 8.30pm and had to be at dinner at 9pm which was rather challenging, but made it by 10.15pm – still not complaining as I didn’t want to get off the sailing ship, but also wanted the foody experience), but that was out of our control. The scenery is just sensational, and I thoroughly enjoyed stopping to swim at each of the heavenly bays in the spectacular waters.

The restaurants chosen were very special; visiting the Parco Degli Ulivi – which was absolutely delicious and the Azienda Agriturisma – outstanding food, wine and venue! I felt very honoured to be Angelina’s guest as she is very well respected by everybody we met and engaged with.

Angelina made me feel very comfortable and ‘special’. It was a treat being collected and taken back to the accommodation, so I didn’t have to worry about transport. Nothing was too much trouble and she would go out of her way to make sure I was happy. She is extremely knowledgeable about the culture, food, wine and the places we visited and is very professional in her role.

We have become the best of friends and I look forward to meeting up again next year when I will return  with some of my own friends for my next wine and food tour of Sardinia. I have told them about the beautiful country and about this gorgeous talented young lady.

I am happy to act as a referral to anyone who is considering taking an exciting and gorgeous Italian adventure….

Leith
