Alba Truffle show

The Alba White Truffle is on stage: a wonderful show!

The Alba Truffle Show, as well as being an immersive experience where you can discover the organoleptic characteristics of Tuber magnatum Pico or the wines of the Langhe Roero and Monferrato area – with the Truffle Sensory Analysis and the Wine Tasting Experience – is also entertainment, culture and fun.

The Alba White Truffle World Market is the largest international truffle exhibition from the Piedmont hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.

I was lucky enough to experience this show a couple of years ago, and it is a must do for your itinerary.  Join our Slow Food tour so you can experience this incredible event. Every weekend of the Fair, exceptional guests from the world of entertainment and the media talk about the scents of truffles according to the most diverse meanings: debates, meetings, book launches, talk shows, workshops and Show Cooking. Dedicated to real gourmets, and now known as Foodies Moments, they celebrate the marriage between the great cuisine and the Alba White Truffle; among taste, luxury and beauty, guiding the public in starred kitchens to discover the secrets of the most important chefs at national and international level who, for the occasion, consecrate their inspiration for dishes specifically made for the Alba White Truffle.

Starting from the 88th edition of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, an important new feature will be introduced in this field by the “reFOOD FOR ALL” project which will have as its ambassadors the Chefs guests of the Alba Truffle Show, and the restaurant owner of Langhe Roero and Monferrato will follow on the heels. The wine-producing landscape of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero is a World Heritage Site.

This is the 50th site in Italy, the most famous wine-growing hills in the world, which is on the UNESCO list as a cultural landscape since 2014, the result of the combined action between man and nature.

The skilful processing and continuous improvement of the Nebbiolo, Moscato Bianco and Barbera vines cultivation techniques have led to extraordinary results, which have been reflected in the splendour of a landscape unique in the world.
